Petite Knit Technicolor Tote Bag

The Tecnicolor Tote Bag is worked from the bottom up in a slipped stitch pattern.  The bag is worked in three strands of yarn held together throughout, and the gradual transitions between colours are achieved by continuously changing between the different colours held together.  The colour changes are thoroughly described in the pattern.  Work the bag in your favourite colours and either meticukously chage colours as the pattern dictates or use the desciption in the pattern as a guide anf inspiration and create your own interpretation of the Technicolour Tote bag.

Width: 34 cm (13 1/2 inches)

Height: approx 38 cm (15 inches)

Gauge: 15 sts x 27 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in slipped stitch pattern with three strands of yarn held together.

Needles: 8mm (US11) / 60 and 80 or 100 cm (24 and 32 or 40 inches) circular needle

Materials: A total of approx. 400g Double Sunday by Sandnes Garn, (50g - 108m[118 yds]) distributed between the colours 150-200g Electric Bllue (6046) as colour 1(C1), 100g Coffee Bean (4081) as C2, 100g Almond (2511) as C3, 100g Camel(2542) as C4 and 50g That Orange Feeling 93819) as C5
